মিলন হবে কত দিনে- লালন

আমার মনে মানুষের সনে
মিলন হবে  কত দিনে।।
চাতকপ্রায় অহর্নিশি
চেয়ে আছে কালো শশী,
হব বলে চরণদাসী;
তা হয় না কপালগুনে।।
মেঘের বিদ্যুৎ মেঘে যেমন
লুকালে না পায় অন্বেষণ,
কালারে হারালেম তেমন
ও রূপ হেরিয়ে স্বপনে।।
যখন ঐ রূপ স্মরন হয়
থাকে না লোক-লজ্জার ভয়;
অধীন লালন বলে সদায়
প্রেম যে করে সে জানে।।

When I will meet
with the person who belongs to my heart.
As the cuckoo craves eagerly for water
in the same way, I restlessly quest to be His servant,
Although one should be fortune enough to be His servant.
As the thunder disappear within the clouds
in the same way my Lord dissolves within me.
I have seen His face in my dreams.
When His face appears into my thought
I lost all my worldly consciousness,
