এমন মানব-জনম আর কি হবে- লালন

এমন মানব-জনম আর কি হবে।
মন যা করো ত্বরায় করো এই ভবে।।
অনন্তরূপ সৃষ্টি করলেন সাঁই,
শুনি মানবের উত্তম কিছুই নাই,
দেব-দেবতাগন
করে আরাধন
জন্ম নিতে মানবে।।
কতো ভাগ্যের ফলে না জানি
মন রে পেয়েছ এই মানব-তরণী।
বেয়ে যাও ত্বরায় সুধারায়
 যেন ভরা না ডোবে।।
এই মানুষে হবে মাধুর্য-ভজন
তাইতো মানুষরূপ গটলে নিরঞ্জন।
এবার ঠকলে আর
না দেখি কিনারা
অধীন লালন তাই ভাবে।।

You will not get this Human Life again.
Oh, my mind do quickly whatever you need to do.
I have learnt that there is nothing more beautiful than Human being,
The Almighty himself created this eternal life,
even the God wishes to get Human Life.
Oh, my soul, you are fortunate enough
to get a boat like a human body.
Quickly sail your boat in continuous flow of life stream
but be cautious about any calamity.
The devotion of divinity is through the Human Life
For that purpose the Creator created this life.
Humble Lalon worried by thinking that-
Now if I would be cheated by some deception
would not be capable of standing back.
