ফকিরি করবি, ক্ষেপা, কোন রাগে- লালন

 ফকিরি করবি, ক্ষেপা, কোন রাগে
 আছে হিন্দু-মুসলমান দুই ভাগে।।
থাকে ভেস্তের আশায় মমিনগণ,
হিন্দুরা দেয় স্বর্গেতে মন,
ভেস্ত-স্বর্গ ফাটক সমান-
 কার বা তা ভালো লাগে।।
অতল-প্রাপ্তি কিসেতে হয়
গুরুর কাছে জান গে রে তাই,
টল কি অটল রতি সেই
 নেহার ক'রে জান আগে।।
ভবে ফকিরি সাধন ক'রে
খোলসা রও হুজুরে,
 সিরাজ সাঁই কয়, লালন ভেড়ে,
 আত্ম-তত্ত্ব জান রে আগে।।

For what reason you want to choose
the path of Fakir?
Human chooses to divide themselves into Hindu-Muslim.
Hindu-Muslim they want the same destiny
but in a different way,
 Who wants to follow these illogical paths.
But before all, learn from your Guru(Master)
what is the actual acquirement,
whether it's a firm or fragile attachment
 try to examine it first.
If you choose the path of Fakir
then you need to open yourself to your Guru.
 My Guru(Shiraj Sai) is scolding me
 by saying "Oh my dear Lalon try to understand yourself first."
