এ দেশেতে এই সুখ হোলো আবার কোথা যাই না জানি।
পেয়েছি এক ভাঙ্গা নৌকা জনম গেল ছেঁ'চতে পানি।।
কার বা আমি কে বা আমার,
আসল বস্তু ঠিক নাহি তার,
বৈদিক মেঘে ঘোর অন্ধকার
উদয় হয় না দিনমণি।।
আর কি রে এই পাপীর ভাগ্যে
দয়ালচাঁদের দয়া হবে,
কতদিন এই হালে যাবে
বাহিয়ে পাপের তরণী।।
কার দোষ দিব এ ভুবনে,
হীন হয়েছি ভজনগুনে,
লালন বলে কত দিনে
পাবো সাঁইএর চরণ দুখানি।।

I have got enough happiness in this life,
would not look for other.
I have got a broken boat,
wasted my life by maintaining it.
Whome I belong to, who is belong to mine,
the real thing is not in place,
the sky is clouded by bookish knowledge
even the Sun is unable to appear.
What more can happen to the destiny of this sinner
when the grace of the Almighty will rain down to me,
how long I need to stay in this state
by sailing this boat of guilt.
Whome will I blame in this world,
life become miserable by my own,
Lalon is obsessed by thinking
"When will I get grace of my Guru(Master)."
